If your check is drawn on a local bank, the first $100 from a deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of deposit. The remaining funds will be available on the second business day after the day of deposit. If your check is drawn on a non-local check, the first $100 from a deposit will be available on the first business day after the day of deposit. The remaining funds will be available on the fifth business day after the day of deposit. Does InBank have Safe Deposit Boxes? Yes, in our Oak Forest location only. Safe Deposit boxes can be rented in sizes ranging from 2x5"up to 10x15". There is a one time, refundable key deposit along with an annual fee(determined by box size) on each box rental Does InBank have gold dollars and two dollar bills? Yes, we do have gold dollars and two dollar bills on occasion and by request. We do not place special orders for this currency with the Federal Reserve Bank. How much does a Cashiers Check/Certified Check cost? Cashiers Check - $3.00 Certified Check - $10.00 *Winner Checking Plus and Interstate 50 Checking Plus account holders get one Cashiers Check FREE per month. What is the difference between a Cashiers Check, a Money Order, and a Certified Check? Money Order: A check issued for up to $999.99 that does not have to be made payable to any specific party. Cashiers Check: A check issued in any amount that has to be made payable to a specific party, not cash. It is an official bank check, drawn on the bank. Certified Check: A check written on the customers account, funds are certified as available and are legal liabilities of the bank. Funds are withdrawn from customers account and placed in a special bank account for payment. Certification transforms the original order to pay into the bank's promise to pay. Why are checking deposit tickets only available upon request from a teller? For your protection, checking deposit tickets must be obtained from a teller so that we can verify the identity of our customer to protect against fraudulent activities involving cash back on checks deposited. Does InBank count coins? Yes, for existing InBank customers, we will count loose coins. This is a FREE service if the TOTAL amount is deposited into any InBank account. A fee of 10% of the total with a maximum of $5.00 fee is charged for cash back. |
